We invite students to submit a video presenting fresh and original views, which may stimulate the research community. In particular, we welcome short videos (duration: 1 to max. 3 minutes), which present original visions in either one of the following three categories:
• Explain dynamic spectrum access in a way that is readily understood by students, policy makers and others. Provide innovative graphical and other approaches to explain the concept. Demonstrate how dynamic access can increase access to radio spectrum and show why this is important.
• Showcase the applications and solutions that might be provided by dynamic access. Show how these solutions would improve quality of life and add to the well-being and wealth of a country. Particularly important is to show how dynamic access lends itself to particular applications and especially innovative new ideas.
• Demonstrate new techniques for dynamic spectrum access, or show how previous techniques, such as sensing or a using geo-location database, can be improved upon to increase spectrum efficiency. Topics would include anything covered under the IEEE DySPAN CFP, and the submission could be either a concept video, or a recording of the system in action.
Submissions are due Friday, August 24, 2012.
